Cream Cheese Brownies

I'm addicted to Pinterest.  I enjoyed viewing awesome photos there especially the food and drink.  I usually search on food mostly on cakes and pastries.  When I checked the link, then when I find that the ingredients and instructions are easy to find and follow, I make them.  One of the recipes I tried which turned out great was Sweet Tooth post.  Actually, I did this few months ago.  Like what I said on my previous post that I was MIA for more than a year here.  This is one of the late post that is worth sharing. (I've mentioned *post many times, argh).   Okay, I can only share a photo I grabbed from my Instagram but the recipes, just click the link ;-p.  Worth the try, seriously :-)

Make-up Haul

I was feeling very down for the past days and so stressed-out for two months.  Yesterday, I decided for a retail therapy.  First stop, my heaven - Sephora.  And then to Kiehl,s, Scape, Watsons and lastly to Innisfree.

I took advantage of my 10% off at Sephora.  I only plan to purchase the Tarte limited edition Amazon  CC Matte Palette but the lady in-charge at the Urban Decay and Benefit was so friendly and accommodating so I ended up buying UD Smoked Palette and Benefit Working Day set.  I just hate when people at Sephora aren't that busy and so friendly, you really end up of buying more ;-P

I just heard this from Lisa Eldridge on her latest skincare video, I like what she said about the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.

I was out of Seche Vite dry fast top coat, this would be my second bottle.  And add the OPI 4 In the Morning.  Actually, I was looking for OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls but they said it was discontinued.  Though the rest of the Amazing Spiderman Collection are still in stock, the mini set.

I got a large pimple under my lips, so I bought Acne Clear pimple treatment lotion.  The small one I noticed is always sold out so I ended up on the big bottle.  This will be my first try by the way.  The add-ons, the Lorea'l Color Riche 102 Macaron Noisette and want to try Bourjois new lip product - Rouge Edition in Velvet.

I really wanted to buy LM Secret Camouflage but it is expensive for me cos I won't be using it much.  I passed by the Innisfree shop cos I noticed their products are affordable.  Then tried the perfect concealer tester.  I noticed that it is not dry on me.  It is cheap so I bought it.  By the way, their membership is free and for lifetime.

So that's all for now, laters!

Nutella Cupcakes

I let my daughter prepared nutella cupcakes a year ago (late post).  She did the ingredients preparation, weighing, mixing and scooping.  She did a great job.  In fact it was perfect!!

Ingredients and instructions:
Pre-heat oven at 350F.  Line muffin cups with paper liners.  Combine in mixing bowl 2x large eggs, 10 tbsp / 68g of flour, 1 cup / 280g of Nutella.  Mix until all ingredients are blended.  Scoop into cupcake liners. And bake for 30 mins or less.

I saw this recipe in Pinterest. I don't have the exact link but if you search, there will be tons of links and photos.  We make this often cos it was so easy and only three ingredients required.  Initially, we followed the exact measurement in the ingredients.  Then for the next batch, I added the nutella more than a cup.  The result was more moist and tastier, much better than the original taste.  You will never go wrong actually.  But for the flour, it should be exact.  Aside from cupcakes, I tried the brownie type, same so delish!!!

top with chocolate ganache is awesome or melt nutella in microwave is even better ;)

I really love this! I can eat all! My hubby even eat this one cos the sweetness is perfect.  Not too sweet!

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in Flush

I received the package of Daniel Sandler Watercolour in Flush a year ago. I ordered it online via Feelunique which are base in UK.  They do ship worldwide and the shipment is included/free!  This is a late post, thankfully I still got photos saved.  It should be a practice, when receiving a package to take a photo in case of problem for easy reference.
I chose the color flush cos I feel that it would look natural on me.  There are a lot of shade to choose from and it was kind of hard cos I can only buy one.  So I got the safest shade for my yellow undertone.  I am actually fair to medium.  By the way, I've learned this from Lisa Eldridge make-up tutorials.  Please check her YouTube, so helpful.

This is what it looks now....

The ingredients really separates in time, that's why before using any liquid type of blush it is highly recommended to shake very well until the ingredients are even.

"Directions: - The special ingredients in your Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush may separate so gently shake the bottle to mix evenly before each use.- Unscrew the cap then squeeze out two very small drops of Watercolour on the back of your hand.- Using the Daniel Sandler Waterbrush, pick up the first drop of colour, apply to cheeks and blend.- Using the second drop, do the same thing on the other cheek.- To deepen the colour on your cheeks, re-apply a drop of colour to each cheek and blend.- Always replace the screw cap securely."

only a drop

little goes a long way, true!

blend lightly

once set, powder finish

I like this blush.  I use this on top of my liquid foundation, then it really last for a long hours.

I tried to rub off very lightly with running water, just refer to photos below.

water test, rubbing with hand lightly (no soap)

after drying

If you haven't tried this product, I would recommend you try it.  It is worth the price.

S'mores Addict!

Flashback video I grabbed from my Instagram using QuickSave App.

This was a fun time with my kids. My kids likes mallows and every time they eat, they often imagined the bonfire. Thought of s'mores since we have the ingredients on hand. From that day on, we became s'mores addict ;-)

Homemade Dinosaur Cake

I would like to share here my first ever made 3D cake for my son on his birthday last year.  He chose dinosaur as his theme.  He really likes dinosaur, so he got lots of toys.  For this reason, I was eager to try a 3D cake using his toys ;-)  I washed and sanitized all the toys as topper for the cake, by the way.  The best part, I let my kids designed the cakes ;-)

Actually, I made two cakes.  The one layer cake was just a chocolate ganache filing.

And this was the second cake...

My hubby prepared the banner ;-)

He had a party at Chili's. They have a small function room located at Tanglin Mall.  The room is good for less than 30 pax.  Since the place is small, games for children's party is not ideal.  We made a reservation weeks before the party.  No deposit was required only confirmation.  The food is consumable for SGD1,000.00 and can use the function room for three hours. There's additional charge for extensions.

International Women's Day

Look what I got on Women's Day...

Tadaa!! It's a Sigma Performance Eye Kit!!!

I bought this online via Luxola.  They had a 25% off for this special day ;-) An additional collection for my Sigma, yay!!

There's 8 brushes:

(1) Shader-Crease E47; (2) Shader-Lid E56; (3) Shader-Inner Corner E46; (4) Blending E36; (5) Smudge E21; (6) Tightline Liner E16; (7) Waterline Liner E17; and (8) Eye Liner E11.

I'm excited to use the first 5 brushes.  For those who have this set already, I agree with them that E16 and E17 functions the same.  For that reason, 7 brushes are all you have. They should have included a pencil brush instead.  For the eyeliner brush, I would probably be using it more to conceal spots.
