Day 49/365: Grilled Pork Belly
Time to use my grill again! :)) This time I'll cook one of my hubby's favorite dish - grilled pork belly or inihaw na liempo.
I used the frozen pork belly that are available in grocery store. Please refer to Panlasang Pinoy for the marinade and basting sauce. We enjoyed the flavor so much and ended up eating more rice :))
Day 48/365: Fried Chicken with Curry Sauce
Inspired from Chicken Biryani. I don't know how it's done but my version is just that - fried chicken with chicken curry sauce :))
Day 46/365: Homemade Mamon
I tried the Mamon recipe of Panlasang Pinoy. It was fine, its like the taste of ordinary mamon we buy in ordinary bakery store. This is one of the easiest and enjoyable recipe I've made aside from brownies :)

Day 44/365: Soo Hot Day!
This photo was taken at Sembawang Park. It was a very hot day so we all got sunburned until now we haven't been recovered. Anyways, it was a fun day after all! :)
Day 43/365: Super Quick Cheese & Herbs Pasta
I was so hungry so I just cooked this very very quick still it turned out okay. On the drained cooked short pasta (about 1 1/2 c), I just added 290g of Cheese and Herbs Pasta Sauce, a little bit of water, shredded cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Mix and simmer for few minutes. That's it, so quick. Tasted simple and good!! :)

Day 41/365: Fried Stingray With Black Bean Garlic Sauce
My first time to fry a stingray usually I cooked it with coconut milk. Inspired by the dish from hawker - sambal stingray. Obviously, I was mistaken by the sauce. When buying for the sauce I was confused what to buy cos during that moment I forgot the name of the dish. Then after the grocery I passed by hawker and learned that I should have bought sambal sauce. Anyways, I still used the sauce and it was not bad at all. Well it was a bit salty but still okay.

Day 40/365: A moment at Watami
Had Lunch at Watami Ion Branch and tried their version of Bibimbap. It is called Chashu Stone Pot with Rice (Seasoned Pork Rice in Stone Pot). I ordered under lunch set / daily special which comes with salad, soup, and drink at $11++. I did not enjoyed much though it tastes good. It was not spicy and of course no Kimchi. So in that case, I still prefer the Korean version :)

Day 38/365: Pork Liver Spread in Singapore
I just bought this brand of liver spread at Pinoy Store near our place. This brand is acceptable in Singapore unlike the one made from PH. As per label, it is Henaff French Pate, Pork liver spread with red wine made in France. I will try this on my next Caldereta dish :P
Day 37/365: Just another brownie day . . .
I made brownie on our CNY celebration, it was good but not that chocolatey. Yet nothing left the next day so I made a another brownie. The second batch that I baked was more chocolatey and moist. I made adjustments and it turned out more yummy. I just hoped that my Sunday version of brownie was the one I made last Saturday hehe.
Day 36/365: A Prosperity Toss for CNY 2011
Yusheng was the highlight of our post CNY 2011 celebration. According to Wikipedia it is also called Prosperity Toss. We all toss together as high as we can while making our wishes. It was my first time to try the food and I liked it. I really wondered how was the recipe as it really looks beautiful and colorful. Sure enough it was really a prosperity food, refer to http://www.noobcook.com.
