She Dance!

Here's some pics of our girl on her ballet lessons.  The class is for beginners so I guess they are still into warm-up stage? :D  Few sessions left and class almost over.  Early weeks that parents/guardians were allowed to go inside and watch, but then it started a week ago that management don't allow us anymore so we just wait outside.

Our daughter enjoys the lesson pretty much.  If her dad allows, she might continue on the next level :)

My daughter asked me to buy the small box for digital oil painting which cost SGD5.++ in our area.  I got overwhelmed with the digital canvass, so I bought one for myself.  I told her we will paint together :P  Refer to photos...

My first purchased of ELF via online shopping. Learned about ELF products thru make-up video tutorials. Famous to be a cheap yet very good brand. Best dupe option for expensive products.

For the lip balm, I chose the shade of mellow melon over peaceful pink (available only that time). First, the bulky package really makes up space in my bag orgaizer/make-up pouch.  On the other hand, it is easier to find because of the bulkiness :D  It's a like a tinted lip balm and near to moisture lipstick though it not pigmented as a regular lipstick.  It comes naturally on my lips.  It does moisturize my lips, not sticky and stays for hours too.  I also like the mild make-up scent and taste.  The only downside, sometimes I noticed after a few hours of wearing it and when I re-apply with the same lip balm, skin of my lips pealed so I have to wipe my lips very well with tissue.  But over-all, I like the product.  In fact, I'm planning to purchase the other three shades (Romantic Rouge, Blissful Berry and Bombshell Brown) that are now available online.

Evolution of Smooth

I got this EOS Smooth Sphere Summer Fruit Lip Balm few months ago.  I just opened and used it recently cos I'm down with my previous lip balm.  I like the packaging that's why I bought it in the first place, it's so cute but for some people they find it annoying.  I love the scent and flavor, it's not strong.  It is not greasy, in fact I find it applying more than once on my lips.  It is not glossy either.  I don't care if I have to re-apply from time to time cos applying it is fun to me.  Holding the sphere while applying it make me happy :))  It is a bit pricey though .  By the way, I don't use lip balm cos my lips' dry or chappy.  I just love wearing lip balm and want my lips to be moisturize all the time :)

Oxy 5 is 5 !

This year I noticed that my face is not pimple free anymore.  I see one almost every month.  And when I have one it will take more than a week to heal.  So I decided to buy an over the counter product that is available everywhere, the Oxy 5 Vanishing Formula with Regular Strength.  I wasn't able to check reviews before purchasing (since it was cheap) but I was lucky it works really well.  Its very effective, dries up and pimple gone in 3 to 4 days, work wonders!

Impression: its not that interesting to me compare to the the first so I don't feel like playing the version.  And with the time constraint, I thought it is quite challenging.  Well, I really enjoyed unlocking the Ice Break.  It was really addictive!

Washing Underwear & Delicates

I've read somewhere and I wasn't able to bookmark the site that it is advisable to use baby detergent in washing underwear.  Right away, I bought Kodomo which had a powder scent (blue one) that I really like.  Then I stumbled upon Baby Detergents, wherein you would learn a lot in washing underwear and delicates using baby detergent and so. It is highly recommended and surely agree of the idea.  

 

Washing underwear and delicates need special care. Since these are used to protect our body’s sensitive parts, we have to make sure that it is washed thoroughly, no detergent residues and absolutely germ-free. Especially for babies and toddlers, clean underwear is important to prevent their skin from having rashes and allergies.

In washing briefs and panties, it is a golden rule to separate them from the rest of the laundry. Undergarments are breeding grounds for germs and bacteria. Tight-fitting underwear is an ideal habitat for Candida yeast, which causes irritation and other skin problems. The bacteria can easily transfer to other clothing in the washing machine and so it should be washed separately.
Believe it or not, there are tracks of urine and feces always left on the underwear. According to experts, about a gram of feces can be found on an average pair of underwear. Thus, germs easily cultivate in these garments and fast.

Undergarments should be washed in hot water. For colored underwear, you should wash it in cold water. Make sure you read the instruction tag on the brief or panty before putting it in the washer. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully. Some undergarments are required to be washed by hands while others should be washed in a certain cycle.

Use mild, hypoallergenic detergent. You can bleach the stubborn stains; but if there’s none, you better not use this product. You don’t want to expose your child to strong cleaning chemicals at a young age. See the instructions on the amount of soap needed in washing undergarments. Make sure that you rinse it thoroughly and there are no traces of detergent residues.

Do not use fabric softeners especially the scented ones. The perfume can cause skin reactions and yeast infections. For a safer option, throw in a teaspoon of vinegar in the rinse cycle.
Undergarments should be dried completely immediately after washing to prevent bacteria from growing. Also, it is best if you air dry these rather than using the dryer. Spin drying underwear may cause them to shrink.

Hubby & Son

My hubby now enjoys doing haircut to our son.  He does it for hours :))  Hubby tired and happy on what he did while son so bored and itchy yet ended happy with his new hairstyle :P

Carmex Craze

I'm loving carmex all the time. I feel my lips are naked when it's not applied to my lips. I wear it all the time especially at bedtime.  A must have where ever I go!

So this is one product that I can't live without! :)

Red Passion

I heart red lipstick and been hunting for red chili dupe that is not expensive :)  The cheap but a very good one that I always love to wear is Maybelline.  My second choice is Loreal.  When I was single and working, I chose MAC.  I like Mac before but when I got married I prefer a moisture lipstick.

Availability wise, I cannot find the red dupe in Maybelline.  And I would like to check and buy Loreal's Le Rouge line red lipstick unfortunately its not yet available in our area.  So I ended up with Made For Me Intenses in 643 Red Passion.  That's the only nearest red that I like.  Its not a dupe but the red shade is okay for me, made me happy anyways.

My verdict: good moisture that last for hours.  It is not that pigmented so I have to apply to my lips more than once.  When moisture's gone, a glitters appears on my lips which is still fine to me.  It last for hours except when I eat, it doesn't last.  Over-all  I'm happy with the product.

I suggest if you can't find the perfect dupe for the product, just go ahead and buy the exact product you want cos if not you would end up spending more :)

For the record, I failed my project 365 :((.  There's been days that I missed to take photos and I don't want to cheat just fill the gaps.  I was so busy that I really forgot.  This project was harder than I thought.
