for the lip balm & packaging sucker out there!!!

So cute and pretty, right?! 

First off, this really caught my attention, big time!!! I saw this on Instagram post that I followed, one of the beauty guru that I also followed on Youtube.  Gosh, look at the packaging, so cute!!!  Then I Google it right away, where to buy and few reviews and what not.  The usual, not yet available in Singapore.  Anywho, they have it on Amazon and e-Bay.  But I got mine from e-Bay. 

They have it in three flavors:  pomegranate blueberry, fresh mint and vanilla bean.  Second, I chose the flavor pom blueberry because of the color of the packaging aside from the flavor.  Lastly, I'm really sucker for lip balm.  I love love to try new lip balms.  I love to wear it on my lips all the time.  And I can't live without lip balms.

You know, it smells so good!! I love it!! I think the fruity flavor smells a bit strong but it was pleasant when I unscrew and open the cube.  Then again,  I love it!!  It has a sweet pleasurable taste when applied on my lips.  It was like a sweet candy that I want to apply more then lick my lips ;-P.  However, that should not be the case, I should not lick my lips hihi.  It is moisturizing like other lip balm.  My lips feels soft and hydrated, I agree.  The lasting factor was just like an ordinary lip balm.  Actually, I find that my  EOS lip balm is more lasting than this one.  Well, both the cube and egg are moisturizing.  At any rate, I prefer the cube when it comes to the fruity scent and taste.  Then again, more points given to the cube for the packaging over the egg ;-)  

I hope to buy the rest of the flavor soon.  If you are a sucker for packaging, go ahead and buy ;-)

Tarte CC Matte Palette

Hello!!! 

I'm here to share my thoughts about Tarte CC Matte Palette.  I bought this on my last Sephora Haul.  The reason I bought was because it is a limited edition.  I only wanted to have a limited edition on one of my collection.  Also, the packaging is so pretty.  At first, I thought I would love it cos it was all matte.  I've heard that matte shadows are for older like me.  More so, you need more work on mattes, like more blending. 

I've been using this many times.  When I first played on the palette, I hated it. It seems hard for me to work with.  I don't like the "sand out from the crowd (base)" it looks dry on the lid, especially my inner lid. So from the beginning until now I hated it.  The rest are just okay, but nothing special.  For me, it is not pigmented, fairly light on my skin-tone.  I keep on patting more on the color to show except for "two plumps up)".   For reference, I am NC 25.

Sometimes, I used one shade alone for no make-up look like the "peach for the stars (lid)" and "view from the taupe (crease)".   To add color on my crease, I used "rose to the occasion (crease)".  The two liners are good liners.  For the cheek blush - "elevated",  I feel it didn't give me a nice flush, that's why I don't used as much as the shadows.  Then again, nothing special and definitely not an amazing palette for me.

I am only happy on the huge mirror, appreciated when I used it.  I can see my face more clearly ;-P

Hello!!

Good day, everyone!!  Late post here.  I just want to share another Luxola Haul from their Easter sale!! I'm always looking forward on their sale, which are frequent.  Well done, Luxola! ;-) 

Tangle Teezer in Aqua Splash 

This is an expensive brush.  I've been eyeing on this for so long, holding back even if I can get it on sale.  I don't know what I ate this time that I was able to put this on my cart :-P  Anyway,  my first impression - the brush was really huge, it takes up space on my drawer.  Can't bring along cos definitely there be no space on my carry-on bag.  I first used it on my wet hair, then surprised to see that after air dry, my thick frizzy-like hair looks neat!!  It was like controlled!!  That only happens when I clean my hair and once dried cos the next day when I brush it isn't the same.  My hair still controlled but then my hair still looks big :D

Overall,  I really like the brush already.  Thank goodness it didn't go to waste ;-))

Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine 

The Jasmine was not my first choice.  I prefer the Quince and my second option was Pomegranate. I read a lot on Quince and it was the best seller.   Unfortunately, both were out of stock that time.  I really like to try it and it was like I cannot wait so my last choice was Jasmine.  I did a quick search for Jasmine if it's worth the buy.  Good thing there were a lot also of good reviews.  

I love the scent and taste of the lip butter.  It feels good on my lips too, very moisturizing and it last long.  I only used it before I go to bed.  The only downside is, it was hard for me to unscrew the cup.  I don't know if it is only me. 

Sleek Pout Polish in Electro Peach 

At first I like the packaging.  I like the color and the smell.  What I don't like is the taste.  It is not bad actually but I feel I don't want to stay on my lips longer cos the taste don't wear off.   I don't know if that's the taste of the spf?  Well, it don't last long anyway.  The color is just a coral tint on my lips.  

Just Herbs Skin Lightenig Gel

The skin lightening gel I learned to love each day.  First, I did't like the strong rose smell when applying the gel on my face and neck.  But then the scent fades away after the gel dries on my skin.  And after each use, my face feels bright, not dull.  I actually add a 2x drops of Tarte Maracuja oil and mix in with the generous amount of the gel.  I'm glad both works on me and the maracuja oil won't be a waste anymore, cos I can't stand to use it alone.  I will re-purchase this one for sure.
