Here’s my favorite stall for bling-bling near our place. I often buy my blings here. Best part, she gives me discount :)

Our dinner. Here’s the recipe. . .
You need:
For the meatballs: 230g minced pork; 1pc medium size carrot, shredded; 1pc medium onion, minced; 3pc cloves garlic, minced or shredded; 2 tbsp flour; 1pc egg; 1/4 tsp dried parsley; salt and pepper to taste.
For the soup: 1 pc medium onion, minced; cooking oil; 4 1/2 cups of water; fish sauce; 1pc pork cubes; 50g flour vermicelli or misu; and pepper to taste.
Optional: 2pc corn cub, cut small
- Combine all together meatball ingredients.
- In a casserole, heat cooking oil and saute onions. Add water and bring to boil. Add the pork cubes and small amount of fish sauce about 2tbsp.
- Once water is boiling, form a ball on meatball mixture then drop carefully on soup. Simmer until meatballs ready. Optional: while simmering you can add the corn cub.
- Add the flour vermicelli and season to taste. Simmer for a few minutes.

Color Effects
It’s really like we’ve been spending our weekend on biking, and we spent hours in the afternoon. I noticed I’m getting tan already, hihi. In this photo, we were at the park. While resting, just thought of taking photo of the flower that I borrowed from my daughter. Then I tried the Color Effects Apps, refer to second photo.
Cool apps, right?
Oops, I was just amazed with the apps and sorry if I took again more than one photo for the day…

Hello Hello
Hello Hello, my favorite song from the Korean series Marry Me, Mary (Mary Stayed Out All Night). I made the video of the song, I hope you like it. And here's the English version of the lyrics I grabbed from Drama Beans.
The lyrics, written by Mary, go:I was standing around on the narrow street
when those indifferent words grazed by me
Hello, hello
Unfamiliar but not awkward, it felt nice
Would it be okay to lean on you?
With concern, that wrinkled sincerity unfolds in front of me
Thank you, thank you
Conveying my simple, thankful honesty
That’s true
Hello, hello, my cute angel
Stay by my side always
Also
Thank you, thank you
That’s what I want to tell you
No no no no no
Just the words thank you
It’s not easy to be deliberately wrong
because the more you do, the more you’ll regret enduring it
I know, I know
Maybe it’s better for that smiling Pierrot
Would I be able to stand up without becoming dirtied?
Though I brush myself off, the pain builds
She knows, she knows
No longer is tomorrow only mine
The world I’ve confronted so many times
You’ve taught me to greet it
My heart overflows with this melody
I’ll go on together with you
That’s true
Hello, hello, my cute angel
Stay by my side always
Also
Thank you, thank you
That’s what I want to tell you
No no no no no
More than a love confession
The words thank you
convey all my feelings
I've added this song as my ring-tone to my mobile phone, great!! Here's the link for Hello Hello mp3 by Jang Geun Suk.
I hope you enjoyed the video!!

Never Park Your Bicycle in Void Deck !!
Bad news, somebody had stolen the handlebar set of my hubby’s bike. Aside from that, he had taken also other small accessories, tsk. We've canvass for the stolen items, its almost the price of a new cheap bicycle and almost the cost of a second hand (few mos old, better than my hubby's bike) quality bicycles. So he end up with this...

Fangqi
This is the Mother Tongue’s first weekly spelling test of my daughter for the school year 2011 as Primary 2. We’re happy she got a perfect score. As you see, she writes really well and so neat. But behind this, my daughter was crying to her Dad yesterday about her Mother Tongue class, that she wants to give up (Fà ngqì) the subject. She’s too pressured, really. Obviously, its really hard on her part coz we parents don’t speak Mandarin and she just hear and learn it from school. She was then asking how come we did not pursue returning to our hometown coz she wants to study there instead. Sigh…
About her study of Mother Tongue, we will do consult and will be dealt accordingly.

Marry Me, Mary
Hey, I’m officially watching Marry Me, Mary (Mary Stayed Out All Night). I’m currently on Episode 4. To be honest, I’m not so “kilig” compare to My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. And I’m not that as excited and not that looking forward to watching the next Ep, if I only have time and nothing much to do then I will watch it.
On a side note, this actor is really handsome!! :) Added points why I chose to watch this series plus he got a lovely voice, adorable!! :)
I’m watching the series via Midnight Dreams.

What About Brown Rice?
It was my first time to buy brown rice the other day coz we’re out of rice. In grocery store that I go to nearby everyday sells only 1kilo brown rice that time, no 1kilo of white. I cannot buy more than a kilo, its so heavy and I’m lazy to bring our cart. We buy 20kilos in Giant Hyper-mart but recently we weren't able to do grocery by bulk coz we were waiting for the ‘big decision’ thing that’s been bugging us since last quarter of last year. Well, the ‘big decision’ thing was finally over.
We still have brown rice as of the moment. It’s like one kilo is good for two to 3 days. Well, during our lunch I was surprised that my hubby seriously said straight to my face “Do not buy this again, I don’t like the taste.” OK, boss! hihi
Even if he don’t warns me, I won’t buy it again coz the cooking method is different and need more time to prepare and cook. Yeah, I know its 100% whole grain and so healthy! No doubt about that. Anyhow, we can get the other nutrients from other likable healthy foods of my family.
Brown rice versus white rice nutrient chart and other details, refer here.

The Bookshop
Went to my daughter’s school this lunch to pickup the last batch of books. Buying books and uniforms are the only time I can go inside the school. Usually they don’t allow us to go inside unless you are being called to report to the principal office...I hope that won't happen :)
