Baking with sugar

I attended a short course on pastries but not in baking cakes.  So when searching on cake recipes I get confused on confectioner's sugar, powdered sugar and icing sugar.  I just realized now to google it, haiz.

So I just learned today that those three mentioned sugars are all the same hi hi.  Read here.  Before the google search, I bought powdered sugar few hours ago.  Though I have stock of icing sugar at home, haiz.  I know...when in doubt, google it!

Later, will try to bake a chocolate cake.  Hope this time it will be a real cake ;)
