A French Braid not bread

Today is the start of school year for 2011.  When we have ample time left while waiting for her school bus, I often braid my daughter’s hair.  This hairdo as always looks pretty neat.  I remember per my photos when I was like my daughter's age, this was my hairdo in school especially on special occasions.  I’ve learned to braid hair with my hometown childhood friend.  I’ve posted a video I grabbed from YouTube on how to French braid hair.

I should always have a planner for the year, and I really write on it – a must have for me!  This is where I practice my handwriting hehe.

Lessons on Dieting...from a Dog

How I like thee . . .

 

I just wanted to shout out that I really like these gifts I received last Christmas given by a very dear friends (a couple).  The bead bracelet, so lovely.  The two cutie wristlet, I like the colors and go well with my phone case and fits well with my phone too.  And lastly the cookbook, love it!!

While we were sleeping. . .

Upon opening our door to welcome the first day of 2011, we noticed a slipper outside (photo below).  Somebody left his slipper!  Okay, why oh my… then found out that my hubby’s slipper was missing.  So the stranger exchanged his slipper and he left his old pair.  We just hope that he won’t be back to exchange our other slippers lah!  What a great day to start our new year!!
