I always crave for these foods every time I watched Korean series.

Warning: TV series marathon is bad to your health aside from the fact that you crave more on food!!

Just had Bihon for snack.  I enjoy eating bihon, I noticed I eat bihon at least twice a week :D  When eating, I always remember the “bihon guisado” of my mom that I definitely missed!  But her bihon is the best!! :)

Tell me, why is Magnum expensive?

IMG_1317

My hubby bought this for me the day when I tweeted that I want Magnum!!  I forgot that this ice cream is very expensive.  If I’m aware of that time, I might change my cravings to a similar ice cream haha.  Is it worth the price?  Nope, for me its not! I must remember this!  I should buy other product next time cos for me it has almost the same taste as other brand and I guess other ice cream stick have lesser calories than Magnum classic that has 260 cal.

So why is Magnum expensive? :D

Oh! Laksa

IMG_1255

For those who are fun of eating hawker laksa, I hope you are aware that one bowl makes up 696 calories based on calorie counter.  So if you pig out together with this meal for a day, for sure you’ll gain extra pounds ahihi.

My craving yesterday but waited for the next day cos I already consumed 552 calories for the day and  have only 648 calories remaining.  Whereas my calorie goal is 1200 cal a day.  I'm really trying my best here, lol.

Brazo de Mercedes

At last! I was able to make meringue, weee! :)

IMG_0503

Few weeks ago, I came across on the cooking video of how to make Brazo de Mercedes by Panlasang Pinoy.  Since then I was craving for it and really want to try.  Click here for the ingredients, procedure and video. I don’t want to make a big one yet so I lessen the ingredients in half.  Then I followed all his instruction   Bow Down Before You

And here's the result . . .

My problem in small size meringue, it can't make a nice roll (nothing to roll actually), or I should have rolled it on the other side? haiz :p  It almost cracked.  But the taste was really good, not so sweet.  I better bake it in a big tray :p  Till next time! Brows

Sisig

One of my cravings, Sisig.  I cannot cook it cos it too complicated for me :P.  But Mama Sita's made it possible, one of her new creation :)  I followed the instruction indicated.  Unfortunately,  I didn't like her version, it's not what I expected.  It's more on sourly taste that I don't like.  I haven't taste the Capampangan version, my apologies.  I'm used to Gerry's Grill taste hi hi.  Don't know how to adjust the flavor either.  But my hubby said it was just okay.

Bibimbap

My lunch, homemade bibimbap.  The ingredients were left-over food, our dinner yesterday.  It's a mixed of fried rice with salted fish, little bit of plain rice, baby kai lan with oyster sauce,  and chili pork.  I really enjoyed eating this, so delicious! :-)

Try mixing your left-over food and just add a bit of soy sauce, tomato sauce or chili sauce.  Add boiled egg or sunny side up, winner! :p

Japanese Cheesecake

I made Japanese Cheesecake after dinner.  I used small portion only cos I don't want to waste much.  I used a big round pan so it made the cake thinner.  My hubby helped me in separating the egg white and yolk :D

The cake was gone after a few minutes.  My daughter and I ate the whole cake.  The cake was fluffy.  It's more creamier compare to the cake from Giant.  Next time if I feel like baking this cake again, I will triple the ingredients and share my version here.

By the way, the springform pan from Ikea is not leak-proof.  I found little water under the parchment paper when I lift the bottom of the cake.

Japanese Cheese Cake

Every time we go to Giant grocery store, we don't missed to buy their Golden Cheese Cake or Japanese Cheesecake.  It cost SGD4.70 for 400g.  Its fluffy and yummy!  I really like the taste.  I can actually eat the whole cake.  My daughter likes it too.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-Inch Springform PanThat's why I'm planning to make my own Japanese cheesecake.  I already picked a recipe but I have to buy a 9 inch Springform pan.  I saw this in Ikea last time.  I was having a second thought of buying it cos that time I wasn't baking cake yet.  I'm not in a hurry, but I just can't help imagining myself baking it.  That's why I'm blogging this so I would pursue my plan.  Good luck to me :)

Dunkin' Donuts

I'm not a sweety person when it comes to sweety food.  In my hometown, when it comes to donuts, I buy Mister Donuts instead of Dunkin' Donuts.  So I was actually surprised when I tried Dunkin' Donuts in Singapore, its my personal preference :P.

I like the nuts with peanut butter on top and this one . . . :D

Yummy!!
