I have a fair, normal/combi and freckled face. I still used moisturizer then bb cream.  

Pros: 

• affordable
• packaging is quite good for the price
• with SPF and 70% water based formula
• tube when squeezed is not messy
• it really gives you a natural coverage and dewy finish 
• it doesn't break on my skin
• not cakey
• discoloration on my neck covers well
• no irritation
• if I stay in a fully air-conditioned / cool place -the dewy effect stays longer at least 8 hours

Cons:
*when I have errands mostly outdoor (on field)  -

• my face is a little bit sticky
• I'm confused to see that my face was oily when in fact its the dewy look
• the dewy effect wears off after few hours

I prefer to use sponge when applying the cream cos it's more easy and even.  If using fingertips - I should apply it very gently cos it easily absorbs my skin.  

Overall, the product is very good.  I highly recommend it!!

I bought this Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert a year ago.  As I recall, I had my personal issues that I would like to dealt with and thought this book would help me.  Didn't have time to finish the book.  For me, her travel to countries seems dragging, what struck me though was her self-inquiry.  When I came to her self question, I pause - asking myself too.  I forgot that my pause had been a long stop then forgot about it, tsk.  Recently,  I just saw the big poster of the book cover in cinema.  So it's now made to film starring Julia Roberts.  Wow, I love Julia Roberts! So better start reading the book again.

How to Train Your Dragon

Better not miss this animated movie.  Adults and children will surely love this!!

We loved it, my kids enjoyed the movie.  The effects are amazing.  Great and funny story.  Very nice touch on friendship, relationships and true courage.  How 'bout a dragon as a pet? cos..."Everything we know about them is wrong."   Full of excitement from start till end, especially the part when Hiccup takes his first ride on Toothless.  The best animated movie I've ever seen!

A must see movie for all ages!!

Mexicali

I am a huge fan of Mexicali!! I am so in love with the food!! The best for me are grilled vegetables -  burritos, enchiladas, soft and hard shell tacos.  Take note, I like everything vegetarian.  I also like the garlic and chili sauce.  Unfortunately, they don't have a franchise here in SG.  So when we visit our hometown, Mexicali is on my top list itinerary.

My family tried Salami and Pesto Pizza; mushroom and pumpkin soup; and fries (not seen in pic).  Obviously, the pizza is so messy.  The taste is not that promising.  Tried once and thought would not crave for it.  

I think the crust is like the Indian Cracker.  In reference to the video, I plan to buy that cracker and our fave toppings and just try it at home, lol.

I recently bought from Face Shop the Hydro Splash BB Cream worth SGD24.90.  Hopefully soon I could post a review.  Actually on my wish list is the Flebeaute White Crystal BB Cream but it cost almost 50SGD.  I bought Hydro Splash because it is affordable and  I've read a quite good reviews.  I can't find any reviews for Flebeaute Crystal BB Cream.  Yeah, they have a tester and tried it on my hand, the coverage was light yet I noticed a glow like - Ok, I need more cream duh... I dunno.  But what was said on the product label fascinates me, so intriguing.

I would like my face to have a glowing effect.  I have a fair, combi/normal and freckled face.  The hydro splash has a very dewy effect and I thought dewy look is nice.  Maybe the glow effect of this Flebeaute BB cream is much better :-D

Swollen Eyelid Home Remedy

If my child's eyelid is beginning to swell (not like pimple type), no red eyes and not watery, I presume its due to bacteria from a common colds. It happened to my child in different occasion, before and after getting colds. 


My home remedy are:

1. I immediately do a warm compress on affected area several times a day;
2. When taking a bath, I concentrate on the effected eye, eyes closed - wash with warm water and soap; and
3. Let my child drink plenty of fluids.

Observe.  It will subside gradually and should be gone after two days.  But if you noticed after a day it doesn't work (no changes) or the swell is getting bigger,  better consult a doctor because the swelling might not due to common colds.

Well mom, just play by ear like we always do :-)

Mom's Bag Essentials

My kids are not toddlers anymore so when kids getting older and both going to school it will be easier to carry things.  When going out like going to malls, shopping, dinning out and groceries - these are the essentials that I should not missed:

1. hand sanitizer;
2. antiseptic wipes;
3. tissue;
4. ointment for insect bites, cuts, burns, etc.;
5. keys;
6. clean plastics (for emergencies like when kids wants to vomit, put dirty clothes, left over foods, etc);
7. plasters;
8. make-up kit (includes: comb, hand lotion, press powder, lipstick, cologne, dental floss and napkin);
9. wallet (includes: money, identification cards, EZ link, credit cards);
10. mobile phone; and
11. earphone

So those are the things I can't leave the house without.

Cetaphil

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, for normal to oily skin, 16.0 -Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

   

I used Cetaphil for my kids from head to toe when they were babies.  It's so important to wash the part of the head including face, outside and back of ears and neck with sterilized wet cotton (sterilized water) and  small amount of Cetaphil at least 3 times a day for new born babies especially when its hot or during summer to avoid rushes.  And of course after changing diapers.   

And its good to know and would like to share this with you that if you are bothered with your V smell especially when you have discharged - I highly recommend Cetaphil as your intimate feminine hygiene wash.  There's no bad odor on regular use and is refreshing too.  I noticed if I used the strong/mild scented wash - well its good for a few hours but if I perspire on my sensitive area plus a discharged, the smell isn't good anymore.  

If you perspire and after workout it's highly recommended to change and wash to avoid itchiness :P.  During summer or hot weather I changed  more than twice a day and wash it with Cetaphil.  You will definitely feel clean and feel good!! 

 

Fitflop

FitFlop "Walkstar III" Sandal Silver 8M

An expensive sandal but taking into consideration the benefits you would get is so tempting.  Thank God my hubby bought me a pair of silver walkstar 3 early this year.  

I don't wear it full time because I'm still used to wearing my havaianas. But when I used it especially during long hours of walk I don't feel ache on my legs and feet...as it usually sores during and for few days on a regular shoe/sandal.  I don't feel tired and I love walking!!

Happy to see a cheaper yet same benefit like it promotes weight loss, tone muscles and improve posture.  Go ahead ladies, if you don't want to buy the famous and expensive sandal - just grab on to this. 

Well, if I've known this before I bought my Fitflop - I would end up buying this instead.  To date, haven't been to there store and wanted to know if there's for men? I like to recommend the sandal to my hubby.  The website showed only for women.
