Sephora Always Red Cream Lip Stain

Sephora Cream Lip Stain - 01 Always Red (matte bold classic red)
A lip stain that provides beautiful, long-lasting color.
This high-coverage lip product features avocado oil for a texture that transforms as you wear it: when applied, the initial cream texture becomes silky, lightweight stain.  Lips achieve stunning color and feel soft and comfortable.

When I bought this item, I was still searching for a classic red lipstick.  I thought this was the one.  I like the shade but I feel sorry for myself as I did not succeed again for a perfect red shade for me.

I like the creaminess of the product when applying it, but it dries up pretty quick.  It is highly pigmented so I suggest you apply it as thinly as possible.  It is matte type but not flaky.  I don't feel the dryness look on my lips and its true its a lightweight stain.  Please note that I tried a carmex lip balm, it bleed and has no staying power and tried EOS lip balm it did not bleed and the staying power was better.  Wear alone on my lips was still fine.  It really stayed on my lips for long period of time but once I eat (downside), the middle portion on my lips comes off which I find awful.  But when I re-apply, I only apply the part that had faded.  So if I go to parties like I would eat more :D I definitely won't wear this.

Reminder app with a snooze

I find Easy Reminders so user friendly.  It is very simple to use and you can add your reminders with just a few steps.  I like the snooze function.  There's other reminder app with added features that I also like, the Alarmed - Reminders, Timers, Alam Clock but I find it more time consuming though it is still a user friendly app.

Try both and see for yourself.  Anyways, both apps are free.

My New Pierced Ear

So I finally had my second piercing on both ears the day before Mother's day of this year.  It's been years that I've been wanting to do it.  I was hesitant to discuss it with my hubby for the thought that he would ignore it and make fun of me.  There was a time that I told him in passing and true enough as if he didn't hear anything and other times he just sarcastically smiled at me.  Tried few times and seems disinterested.  Not until a friend of mine wanted to do it also, so it give me the courage to push thru with my plans.  I didn't ask permission instead I just inform my hubby about it :))

Okay, enough of that.  We had our ear piercing done at B*dazzle in Wisma Atria.  The staffs were kind and friendly.  The package starts at $40plus depending on the earrings/studs.  Since I know my ears are not that sensitive,  I chose the $40plus package - simple surgical steel / titanium earrings.  The service was very fast and two staffs did the procedure, one staff per ear.

The first photo was the disposable cartridge, without the studs.  They just pressed those to my ears at the same time.  The pain was tolerable it was just like putting a clip on my ears :D  The package includes a 6-week free after care service (after care appointments) - two visits at any branch, after two weeks and on the 6th week.  Just follow the ear care instructions given and I suggest to wait at least nine weeks to change your studs.

The last photo was taken this month, it took me at least nine weeks to change my earrings without blood.  My first attempt was on the 6th week, it bleed so I returned the original stud then waited for another weeks.  So far I don't have problem with my new pierced ear.

Elf Studio Eyebrow Kit

e.l.f. studio eyebrow kit in ash powder #81304
It has gel and ash powder.  It also includes mirror and dual brush applicator

Creates brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined
Shapes and sets your eyebrows
Gives lasting color definition for naturally beautiful look

Directions:  Use the pigment brow gel to define and shape the brows with the angled brush for precise lines.  Set the color in with the brow powder and fill in with the blending brush
for a natural finished look.

One of my favorite e.l.f products.  This is my almost everyday use when I feel like wearing just a face powder and highlighting my eyebrow.  The application process only takes a minute so I like using this when I'm in a hurry.  The dual brush is good and I also use it for the product.  The packaging is okay for me.  I like the shade, it is light and really gives you a natural look.  Usually, when I am in a good mood and have time especially when going out on weekend with family or friends, I'd rather highlight my brows with  brown brown/eyeshadow powder for more define brows and apply a clear mascara also from e.l.f. wet gloss lash brow & clear mascara (will make a review on that soon).  Well, if I want to be just natural, I use the ash brown.  They also have other shades which are darker.  Con: if you're in a habit to rub your brow please note that this product will also rub-off.

Olay Regenerist

Olay Regenerist
Advanced Anti-Aging.  Regenerating Serum. Daily Treatment.
Intensive non-greasy formula.  Helps reduces appearance of deep lines.  Firms.
Minimizes appearance of pores.

All the above claims are true!

I like this product.  I've been using this for few months and haven't bought a new one.  I only need one pump for my face and neck.  I used this twice a day.  I also use this as a primer.  It turned  out good with my Etude BB cream.  When I used moisturizer (the cream type) my face perspire a lot when hot especially during outdoor.  But in Olay Serum, it was good, I don't perspire that much.

DIY Foot Spa

Hi there!! I would like to share with you my DIY foot spa.  I only use basics as the above photos.

Things you need:
  1. basin that will fit your feet;
  2. foot scrub
  3. olive oil;
  4. any liquid soap / bubble bath of your choice
  5. hot & tap water
  6. moisturizer
  • Combine hot and warm water in basin.  Check the temperature that your feet can tolerate.  Adjust as needed.  Add a tablespoon of olive oil and desired amount of liquid / bubble bath soap.  Mix to bubbles.  Actually,  you can add a sea salt (optional).
  • Place your feet in the basin.  Rest your feet for few minutes or as long as you want.  When you feel that your skin is soft,  lightly scrub your heel and other hard/callous on your foot with foot scurb.    Do it on your other foot.  Repeat as desired.
  • Wash feet properly.  Towel dry and put your favorite moisturizer.
  • Finally, cut and clean your nails.  Pedicure as usual
  • Repeat this when you need to clean you nails and before you do your pedicure or as needed.
I recommend DIY foot spa, it won't take much of your time.  Most important, it will surely save you money and germ free :)

P.S.  I usually have crack heels, it came out when I became a stay home mom.  I just learned few months ago that rubber slippers cause my heels to crack/dry.  So I changed my home slipper and other slipper when going out for a walk to market to a non-rubber slipper.  From then on, my heels don't crack so I usually do my foot spa once a month for maintenance.  If we have the same case, I suggest  you change your slipper too.
