It's a Gone Gonzo! & Ogre-the-Top Blue week for me!
I usually share a photo of my mani for the week via twitter for my close friends. Doing my mani and pedi makes me really happy!! I love to see my nails in colors!! When I don't wear nail polish especially on my toes..I feel like I'm naked :D When I'm bit down, the more I want to work on my nails and that would change my mood.
Okay, here's my mani for the week that I want to share here.
First, I applied my fave base coat, then applied two coats of OPI Ogre-the-Top Blue on 2/3 of my nail-bed. Then I used cosmetic sponge for the OPI Gone Gonzo. Lastly, I applied my fave top coat. Refer to photo below. So sorry, can't put it in details of how I did it cos I'm not that good on nail tutorials. I don't have image of how I did it cos I wasn't sure then if it will turn out right. Ohm this was actually inspired from one of the YouTube tutorials I've watched. Just searched on nail art tutorials (oopsy, can't find it anymore).
Btw, the colors are much better in person, sad it didn't do justice. And I really like it :)

Choco Mallows
I remember I've said in my past post that my son is a picky eater, yeah until now. I can only name five food that he'll surely eat. He is also not really a sweet lover. Like if he eats sweets - he only eats choco chips and gummy candies yet don't eat much. He is not into ice cream either. That's why until now at the age of five he hasn't loss any tooth, as in no tooth decay! :). He wants to take good care of his teeth. In fact, he worries when we talk about losing his teeth someday like her sister.
Anyways, this choco mallows is an exception. For the record, he can eat 6 pieces in one day!! So I try to buy it at least once a month :d. This can be bought in Filipino store.

Beef Curry
My family and I are not really curry lovers, as much as possible we only cook Pinoy version. When Panlasang Pinoy shared his dish, I tried it after few days. First try, had it with fresh milk without chili and I lessen the ginger it turned out to be very mild curry flavor and the kids were able to eat it. The second time, I used coconut milk with small portion of fresh milk, still without chili but I followed the ginger serving. So the flavor became a bit strong and spicy. Even without the chili I think the ginger made it spicy.
I will share to you my version of Beef Curry, of course inspired by Panlasang Pinoy :)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo beef cubed (beef curry meat)
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1x large sliced onions
- 3x head crushed garlic
- 1x dried bay leaf
- 2x cinnamon sticks
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup fresh milk
- 2x medium sliced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp minced ginger
- salt to taste
- Heat oil in cooking pot. Saute onions (caramelized) and garlic.
- Add beef and cook until the meat turn light brown.
- Add bay leaf, cinnamon sticks and curry powder. Stir to combine.
- Pour the coconut milk and fresh milk. Bring to boil.
- Add tomato, ginger, lemon juice, and salt. Stir.
- Transfer the dish into pressure cooker and cook til tender and sauce thickens.
