Allergy-Proof your Home

My kids have allergies and if not attended, it eventually leads to asthma.  It has been like our endless combat towards healthy living for our children.  I feel so helpless everytime it happens.  Even when I knew what triggers them I still feel miserable.  Going to clinic and taking all medicines given,  would only help for a very short time.  On a side note,  I made a lists from every doctors we've consulted about their suggestions on allergy-proofing our home.
  1. Change beddings once a week;
  2. Use mold and dust free cover and pillows;
  3. Clean floor everyday with dump cloth;
  4. Vaccuum (with HEPA filter) at least once a week;
  5. Wipe surfaces, furnitures, etc with dump cloth at least once a week and never use feather dusters;
  6. No to furry stuffed toys, choose washable cloth like stuffed toys and wash it regularly like twice a month;
  7. No to pets and avoid contact to pets (Blaze found another home);
  8. No smoking.  Never allow relatives and visitors to smoke at your home and premises; and
  9. Change and wash cloth upholstered furnitures regularly (once a month).
I just found very helpful tips related to allergy-proofing home.
